Through community leaders such as pastors, teachers, nurses, block leaders, indigenous practitioners, and social workers, we work with individual members of society on a one to one basis. These professionals are already seen as leaders in their communities (pastors running community centers) and work in rural areas supporting families and HIV/AIDS members of the community and their families. Our plan is for these community leaders to be the mentors for the children/young people/mothers who want to run their own sustainable and community focused enterprise.

Curriculum's

We develop curriculums working with the leaders to identify the needs and aspirations of the community members. Curriculums build upon each other to create a program that the individual can grow into step by step. We establish curriculums working with government, higher education and technical education institutions. We?ll teach individuals how to establish, build and run businesses that are sustainable, responsible and profitable which benefit the communities they work within and serve.

Funding

A fund raising program will support the development and delivery of curriculums exponentially. An alternative and innovative micro-lending program will provide opportunities to receive funding and establish alternatives for repaying loans through cash or in kind by supporting other new businesses and mentoring and coaching new business owners.

Sustainable Structure

Training community leaders to be the guides for the community will enable them to support the establishment of businesses at the same time provide ongoing commitment.

developing and supporting 1,000+ individuals and/or families over the next 3 years to establish, run and maintain their own businesses, we will be able to refine the curriculums and give whole communities access to communication tools, micro-banking and business support functions. We can engage the people of South Africa to grow and learn to interact and embrace all the members of their communities with Arms Wide Open, to identify, accept and focus on the good in the people around them.
