Markie Wicker Thomas Scholarship Fund Fundraising

Many of you are aware of the tragic loss of Markie Thomas, who was our Chi Omega sister Leigh Thomas' mother.

Additionally, Markie was a member of the Kuhn Dental team for over 34 years. Because so many have expressed the desire to honor her memory, The Markie Wicker Thomas Dental Hygiene Memorial Scholarship has been established to provide tuition for the continuance of excellence in the field of Dental Hygiene at her Alma Mater of UNC Chapel Hill.

Markie loved her chosen career and mentored many others in dental hygiene through the years, most recently her daughter Katie, who is presently in the Dental Hygiene Masters Program at UNC Chapel Hill.

All who knew Markie know that this memorial will honor her dedication to both her career and the institution she loved so much!
