HOPE International Development Agency is a Canadian, non-profit, international development agency based in New Westminster, British Columbia, on the west coast of Canada.

Working in Africa, Asia, and the Americas in such countries as Ethiopia, Cambodia, India, Afghanistan, the Philippines and the Dominican Republic, HOPE International Development Agency undertakes and supports people-oriented poverty-reduction work. These projects empower people and communities in need. Many projects focus on the provision of clean and safe water, sustainable living, microfinance, primary health and sanitation, and the environment. The projects of HOPE are accomplished with the help of volunteers and the skills of the local people overseas, combined with the charity of people here who care. 

It is HOPE International’s aim to offer hope to the poverty-stricken and hungry: those whose present circumstances afford them none.

More than one million of the world's poorest people living in 21 countries in Africa, Central America, and Asia will participate in HOPE projects this year. HOPE's commitment to these people, and to a low administrative overhead (typically below 4%), necessitate a high fundraising goal. In order to meet these commitments, HOPE relies on the generosity of people like you.
