The Canadian World Education Foundation (CWEF) is a not-for-profit charitable organization. The driving motivation for CWEF is to enhance educational opportunities, and some of its specific objectives are:

• to assist the impoverished families around the world for the education of their children
• to establish awards for promoting and encouraging higher education in post-secondary institutions around the world.
• to help improve the reading capabilities of young students.
