Canadian Paralympic Foundation Fundraising

The Canadian Paralympic Foundation (CPF) is a registered Canadian charity whose vision is to raise funds to contribute to and enrich, through sport, the lives of Canadians with physical disabilities. The CPF is establishing a $20-million legacy fund to expand community, club and league participation in Paralympic sport. The CPF is affiliated with the Canadian Paralympic Committee.

Having a disability has not stopped individuals from excelling at sports. They have mastered sports adapted to their needs and abilities. Paralympic sports are grouped by category of physical disability. The major disability categories are wheelchair, visual impairment, amputees and cerebral palsy. Athletes train and compete year-round at world-class levels.
